Spain Experience April 2024

Arrival from the airport to the hotel. Your JW Tour Guides will be waiting for you. We will have a Meet & Greet when all group members are ready. We will meet our travel companions for the fun and adventure that awaits us. The adventure begins! Are you ready?

We will walk to the Royal Palace, which, besides being impressive, is the largest in Western Europe and one of the largest in the world; it is a beautiful place to visit. Right next to it, we can also see the Almudena Cathedral. We will also visit symbolic places in Madrid.

We will explore one of the most fascinating cities in the world, ancient Toledo. Those who like historical buildings will enjoy visiting the magnificent cathedral and, if someone wants to enter you can see the tetragrammaton in one of its paintings.

We will discover the imposing city of Cuenca. It's most famous for its well-preserved "casas colgadas," or hanging houses. We will tour this wonderful city with a professional guide who will let us know all the secrets it hides. We will take a little stroll through its streets before enjoying a typical local meal.

We will visit the famous Prado Museum and take a guided Bible Tour with a JW local friend. Afterward, you can see the botanical garden, the charming streets of Madrid, and the archaeological museum, with its impressive exterior, you will be more fascinated by its interior.

You will rest in the morning and enjoy some free time at your leisure. A ticket will be provided to use the City Tour Hop-on Hop-off bus to explore the city of Madrid. Enjoy dinner with the group in the evening and an enjoyable flamenco show, a must-see on a trip to Spain.

This is a day of rest. You will have free time to enjoy the surroundings of your accommodation. We suggest a few: Attend a meeting, visit the Retiro Park, a

small version of Central Park; Take a tour of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, a must for soccer lovers; Stroll through a shopping mall, taking a souvenir of our trip to Spain is never a bad thing.

We will visit Segovia. A city that deserved an article in the Awake! (g87 12/8). You will have time to walk underneath the aqueduct and stroll through the cobblestone streets of Segovia before enjoying the typical dish of the city. After lunch, we will take a guided tour of three impressive monuments.

We will visit the historic city of Alcalá de Henares. This city is very special, not only because it has one of the highest concentrations of Jehovah's Witnesses per capita in Spain, but also because it was a very special event scene. We will go to the Spain Branch of Jehovah's Witnesses in the afternoon.

We will visit a very special place, the Escorial Monastery, one of the most fascinating palaces in Europe. We will return to Madrid and, in the evening, enjoy an emotional farewell group dinner. But first, we will have the opportunity to see the sunset at the Temple of Debod

All good things must come to an end, and we hope you have enjoyed your time exploring what Spain has to offer with us. After breakfast, the shuttle will take us to the airport to leave Spain, with some sadness but with the joy of meeting new friends in Spain.
